They leapt from the tower, skimmed the walls and up they went. They glided above the cold black sea. Their wings gently fluttering in the crisp autumn air. When Icarus mastered his wings he gracefully soared up. Higher and higher he went closer and closer to the sun he came. Dadalus called” Icarus stop climbing” but Icarus ignored him. Over beautiful mountainsides they flew caching stunning views of golden beaches like ribbons leading to the azure horizon. Yet Icarus was still climbing. Then to seal his fate Icarus said “I can fly even higher than Apollo but Apollo heard this. He was not pleased with Icarus. He ordered the sun to shine its rays on Icarus. No sooner than Apollo said this then the sun broke throw the silvery clouds to shine its gleaming rays on Icarus. Icarus immediately knew he was in for trouble. The was on his back heated up in the sun, blistering his back and started to spread and drip off him, the wings loosened and the feathers slowly but surely fluttered off.

Icarus careered out of control, the black sea racing up to meet him. Icarus let out a last frustrated scream then he hit the water. A crimson trickle of blood left his crumpled body drifting away trough the black water. Icaruses body then sank beneath the cold waves.

Dadalus was worried; he could not see Icarus anywhere. Not near the silvery clouds, not above the mountains. Then in the sea below Dadalus spotted a crimson streak in the water and the limp lifeless body of Icarus beneath, just visible in the sea below

As they leapt from the tower ledge, Icarus and Dadalus plummated down the side of the tower. As they let the feathered wings spread, they shot up! Catching the afternoon breeze Icarus had built up confidence and started manoeuvring around in the air current .As they flew over the tempestuous sea Icarus soared up higher into the azure sky dadalus started getting worried and warned Icarus not to fly to high but Icarus ignored him an flew higher. He cried I’m beating Apollo at his own game, Apollo heard this and so he told the sun to raise the heat. The stiff wax started to melt on Icarus’s  burnt back. As the great  wings on Icarus’s back  fell of the fear that dadalus was dreading all this time had happened Icarus plunged down and down and SMACK! Breaking all his bones in his body he drowned to the bottom of the oceon and that was the end of Icarus.

They tumbled down before they were inches from the cold hard ground. Then there wings spurted out like a jack in a box. They darted up.  The two of them drifted past the turbulent sea. They were becoming very good and Icarus wasn’t one to hide it. When they first took off his father warned him not to fly to far but he ignored and disobeyed. He went higher and higher. He claimed he could go higher than the mighty god Apollo. He didn’t stop rising. He was in reach of the sun. He was scorching. The wax started to drip, the feathers swayed from side to side. Sooner than later he was plunging down to the roaring sea. Splash.

As they plummeted down from the side of the tower, the silk wings unfolded in the summer breeze. They began to glide up in the azure sky. Soon after they had master flying, and were gracefully souring through the clouds. Daedalus started to become worried and warned Icarus not to go to high but Icarus ignored Daedalus and darted higher and higher. Until the scorching wax burned his blistering back in the sunlight. He suddenly found himself plummeting down in to the monstrous pounding sea below him that swallowed him whole.

As they leapt from the tower ledge, plunging down, their gorgeous wings sprung up just as they were about to hit the rough concrete ground. There was a summer breeze and the air thermos keeping them up soon enough they were gracefully flying and soaring everywhere. They darted from here to there. They could see the tall king’s tower below them in the background it was a fantastic view and they were gliding so well. Their wings fitted perfectly onto their throbbing backs now blistered because they had been up in in the air flying for so long. Icarus was going higher and higher until… `I am the best at flying, I can even fly higher than all the gods on mount Olympus. ` Although Apollo had heard this terrible news and he was furious. Apollo had seen that they had attached their wing onto their backs with wax so Apollo sent down his rays of sun to melt all the wax off their backs. Daedulus tried to warn Icarus not to glide too high to the sun, however Icarus took no notice of Daedulus` words and completely ignored everything his father had said to him. No instead Icarus went as far as he could go right next to the sun. Icarus had now plummeted straight in to the ocean slap bang in the middle of the sea. He was never to be seen again!

The end!

The unfortunate end of Icarus

As they leapt from the vast tower ledge, their strong, powerful wings spread. They soared upwards. Icarus and Daedulas weren’t very good at first but soon enough they were gracefully floating in the gentle summer’s breeze. They had mastered flying. They had flown far, far away from the king’s tower when Icarus started to get higher and higher. “Look at me! I am inspirational! I am even better than Apollo, the sun god!”Icarus yelled loudly! “Don’t go too high Icarus; your wings will fall off!”Warned Daedulas. “My wings won’t fall off! They are strong and powerful!”Laughed Icarus, as he flew closer and closer to the sun. Suddenly, the wax on his back started to melt! “Oh no! My wings are falling off!”Screamed Icarus. He started to fall. “I did warn you Icarus, I feared this Icarus.”Murmured Daedulas. Icarus plummeted into the deep, dark sea below him and he was never to be seen again.

They leapt from the edge, as they plummeted down the side of the king’s tower towards the dark blue sea. The wings opened and caught them just an inch before the ground. They darted up, whilst they glided through the warm afternoon air. As Daedalus was flying through the air Icrus was getting the hang of flying he was soaring through the sky Daedalsus was worried about him because he was so high. Icrus said he was better than the sun god Apollo. Apollo was angry at this and started sending sun raise towards the wax on his back. The wax started to melt and all of a sudden he started plummeting towards the black sea. His body was never to be seen again.
