Allies or were they?

Many ancient years ago, so long ago that this was buried by time, during the torsion war the walls of troy were crumbling to the ground. Thankfully the torsions had allies and friends. One of their allies that had come to help was a humble city in Argos. In this humble city, there was a noble man, he fought and fought to save all kinds of cities and he would travel to who knows where just to save a city.

He was a prince, prince Aeron, and he had one sister princess, Areadne. Unfortunately the king, king Aesly, his father was old and he could not really fight or go to war as much.

By the way, if you are thinking, what about their mother, well, she sadly passed away and from that moment on, whenever Aesly thought about her, he prayed to the gods and quietly sobbed. After a while, he just couldn’t take it anymore. He had to see her he felt so guilty, so he went to see her. He had also lost in the game of life. King Aeron now had taken the throne. However, he wasn’t happy but heartbroken he found it hard to breathe when being an orphan. Although he knew that he had to help out his city now that he owned it.

Time and time again, Aeron thought about how much, he was of course loved by his city and they thought that because he was so brave courageous and heroic so they thought he was an immortal god. He exclaimed to them that he wasn’t, but they wouldn’t listen. In the end they managed to persuade him that he was a god, which was unbelievable! However, he did sort of feel like he was important and he needed to be noticed for all his hard work. So yes he now was an official god.

Many blood moons passed, when Aeron was asleep that night, he had a very peculiar dream; a dark figure had come to have a little chat with him. Aeron was in his own dream. He gazed up from his book; a dark shadow had come, dragging his feet across the grainy sand he was limping , rasping for breath weak. The door creaked open, he thundered in, “Hubris, bad, no need for it, do not let it over come you!” Aeron suddenly woke up. He chuckled. “Wow”

Aeron, well he felt really bored of having to walk all the way around the palace. He just did not know how his father could do it. Anyway, Aeron thought he would build slaves fit for a king so he did just that nothing less and nothing more. Well when I say he built them he actually got other people to build them for him. He knew that his slaves were built out of the finest bronze so they did not eat sleep and he did not have to spend any money on them. Aeron felt good he felt proud. He didn’t really want to spoil the moment!

As the year flew by, Aeron was also flying by on the standards of course. He was just getting more and more confident which must have been a good thing, right. Aeron stared over at his gleaming city, “it is amazing. Just beautiful.” Aeron said to his sister.
“Yes brother. Look at what we have truly created.” She replied.
“No, I have created the best city ever!” at that very same moment, within a blink of an eye, Aeron froze. His sister also froze they had both turned to black bronze. His city froze too it turned to gothic black bronze as well. It crumbled to the ground leaving nothing but shattered pieces of bronze on the floor. However, Aeron stayed staring at his once beautiful city, And still to this day, Aeron stays weeping in sadness forever. Continue reading Allies or were they?

Androninus’ life ruined

Many moons ago, in a place where a war started, there lived a king and a queen. Their names were Andronicus and Arina. They had been forced to leave their home.

They had run away east into the wilderness. Many refuges joined Andronicus and Arina. Andronicus felt sorry for them so he gave them as much food as possible. All the refuges wanted Andronicus to be their new heir.

The people celebrated for everything that Andronicus has done for them. The people built magnificent places for Andronicus to thank him for everything that he had done to saved their lives.

One day, Arina went up to Andronicus and whispered, “Don’t go too far with your palace.”

“What do you mean?” replied Andronicus. Arina was now getting quiet annoyed but kept her irritation to herself. Andronicus was now puzzled but still determined about his city that it is going to grow and it is going to be the best palace that was ever made by people.

Over the months flew, the place was growing and the population was growing to help making the place.  Arina came up to Andronicus again and asked, “Don’t you think our foreign city land is magnificent?”

“You mean good but not as magnificent as you think it is.” Andronicus said in a harsh voice. However, the two didn’t know that one of the gods was watching…

The next day, Andronicus woke up and saw his magnificent land. He went up to the window and said to himself, that this is really his land. The god that was looking from the sky and disguised herself invisible and entered in Andronicus’ room. She moved out the way and made Andronicus think that she wasn’t even there. When Andronicus went and went to bed, he had a dream about a god Athena, she will destroy the land. Also she will be next to him the next day but Andronicus didn’t believe her.

When Athena was next to him the next day sitting next to him the next day in the morning, he yelled “Get out of my way!”

“Why?” questioned Athena.

“This is my palace and by the way, get your rags off!” shouted Andronicus. Athena disappeared. He felt all the action and nasty things he had done and said.

Whilst Andronicus was thinking about his greediness, Athena went into the underworld and told Hades to flood the river Synx. Hades did as he was told. Athena made holes all over the ground and black bubbles came up until it flooded the whole land. This was the last time Andronicus saw his growing land.

Big blue eyes

Many orbits ago, when the world was pure. There was a small but loved town called Crete. In this town lived a beautiful young girl called Shappious .She had a wonderful gift, her eyes were always wide with amazement and they twinkled like two big blue sapphires.

One tragic night shappious’s father had called into her mother’s bedroom. Because of a fatal illness going around Crete, Shappious had found her lifeless mother tangled in her unwashed bed sheets .Her mother had gone to bed early and her life had slipped away whilst in a deep sleep. Slowly and painfully her father’s life left too because of the heart break he had felt for his loving wife. This left Shappious by herself on the lonely streets of Crete.

Grieve filled years past by and Shappious grew taller and more memorizing every day. Unfortunately she had learnt to use her gift the wrong way. Because couldn’t afford her own food, she used her eyes to charm people into giving her all she needed and more, for free. Every night she would come home to her newly built camp with a basket full of sweet delicacies all for herself. One hot flustering Shappious thought to herself  “I am so well off, I can charm people into giving me what I want and some people on the streets are dying of starvation ,I’m better at thievery than Hermes!”. Hermes had heard Shappiouses thoughts and was enraged “a mortal thinks she can out do me! “he boomed.

The night passed and the sun rose, the next morning, Shappious was strolling through town when her gaze fell upon a gleaming silver necklace. Swiftly her hand reached out and clasped around the necklace. The shopkeeper who had been browsing his rubies was now fixing his deathly stare on Shappious. Her legs started to move, she was running. Despite the speed of Shappious’s feet the shopkeeper was much faster as it was like his feet had wings. When he caught up with Shappious he shoved her against the wall and whispered “do not make a fool of yourself you can’t out do me! “and with a cloud of mist he was gone. Shappious stumbled to the grown gasping for breath what that strange man mean? “She mumbled.

After a night of lurching in and out of sleep the news had spread that Achilles was won the battle and was passing through Crete on the way home. Ever since Shapppious was a mere child  she had dreamt of owning horses such as Achilles’ this was a perfect opportunity to prove just how good she was at thievery .Shappious spent the next coming weeks plotting her master plan. When the day finally arrived, Achilles strode into town next to his immortal horses with a parade of soldiers marching behind him. Achilles had stopped to great the king of Crete when Shappious decided to take her move. She crept up to the horses and tore at their rains and she swung upon their backs, galloping into town with the whole Greek army running after here. Hermes had been watching her and he was truly amazed “she has made a fool of one of the greatest heroes of Greece; I will prevent it from happening again! “ He growled. Back in Crete Shappious had found a safe place to hide. She was admiring her new horses when her eye lids stared closing and blackness covered the world. here eye sockets became heavy, she tried desperately to open her eyes so she could see her surroundings but no matter how hard she tried her vision stayed black, little did she Know that in a few panic filled moments ,instead of too beautiful blue  eyes , she was destined to have eyes made out of crumbling coal for the rest of eternity and so she did , never to see the beautiful earth ever again

The beginning and the end

The beginning and the end

Many shooting stars ago in the most feared city there were three brothers their names were Creon, Roach and Sandman.

They left Sparta and travelled day and night through deserters but one night as they layed their heads down, the lumps of sand collapsed down from an earthquake quickly the brothers awoke to see weapons and gold. But suddenly Creon reacted and stabbed the beasts through its throat wall Roach and Sandman were looking at the gold and Roach said “now we have something to eat”.

One night as the brothers watched the lights go out like a blue flame; Creon said “look at what we have built”. They agreed to go and walk around their magnifsunt city.

But as they were escorted through the diamond doors a black figure with a venom voice came and stabbed Roach and Sandman, Creon ran. And left his brothers to die. But heard Roach screamed “Creon help us”.

But he heard other moans of sorrow he ran to the weeping sound, he found a lady in the mud he asked “what is wrong” she replied in a sad lonely voice “I do not have a home” Creon could not feel sorry to say “ come to my plaice” “okay”.

Creon and Persephone had a child called Paris.

Many dark nights past but one night was not the same as the others he dreamed of a dark figure saying “you have one more chance to make it right “. He awoke with a shiver down his spine and new it was a message from the mighty gods and he went straight to the mighty Arideny and asked about the dream she froze like a ice sculpture and said in a worried voice “I’m sorry to say but that is a sign of a terrible war”Creon studded “n n no it doesn’t” Arideny replied “yes it dose and your son will die a terrible death” Creon with a tear down his eye replied “m m my son is immortal your lying! Guards seas her”

Many moons past and Paris grew up but unknown to him Creon grew selfish and hid all of his gold in the floor boards. But Persephone found the gold and spent it all sending Creon into a volcano like rage before Creon murdered his wife and commits suicide.

And Paris has now taken over his father’s city.

Many seasons past and Paris started a terrible war but the gods did not let Paris win so Zeus sent Ares and Hades down. Hades mixed Ares sword with the yellowiest gold and Ares descised himself as a soldier and stabbed Paris and Paris turned to the yellow gold and shattered to the ground.

The shinny death

The shinny death

Many orbits ago, it was the time of all inventions. There was one small girl whose mum was being put to work. It was one of many days of the year. The girl as three years old and was finally able to be named, she was named Helen.

Years had past and Helen’s mum had died of old age. Helen was now being put to work in her mothers place.

Ajax her house holder went out for the day and Helen saw her chance to escape. She did. The rest of the workers followed Helen. By the shore Helen found a boat that belonged to Ajax. It was finally there time to escape from their worst nightmares.

After there long journey they reached a deserted island. It was perfect. They could now rebuild their homes and live their lives how they were before. They were out looking for material to use to rebuild their homes , then Helen stumbled across this brightly coloured object. It was gold. She had recognised it because all of Ajax’s crockery was made out of it. Back at the camp, Helen boiled it over the fire, it created a lot more than they all expected. With all of the gold they reformed it, boiled it then did the whole process again.

As the streams past, time did to, the gold had turned into the main material used for all the buildings. Because Helen had come across the material she was then crowned Queen but Helen said “no I do not deserve to be Queen” but the people insisted and so she took the offer.

As the seasons changed and changed again, people had come from different lands fleeing from the Argos was. As the weeks flew by more and more refugees had come in. Helen was troubled by the amount of people coming in. So Helen decided to build magnificent walls out of marble and gates made out of gold.

But this did not stop all the refugees coming in, Helen found loads of them on the streets of her beautiful city. Helen thought about all this and took a few in, about twenty and sent the other two-hundred away to build their own city on another island.

Up in the sky’s on top of Mount Olympus Hephaestus was not happy. He was the one who had put the gold in the noticeable place because he felt sorry for Helen and her past. But he did not realise that it would carry on reproducing.

That night he was so troubled by Helen he interfered into Helens dream, and told her to stop using the gold and the marble for all her creations.

The next day Helen did not listen to Hephaestus’ warning and built a marvellous church to prise the gods. Hephaestus was so angry at Helen but pleased at the same time but the pleasing only lasted a hour or two. Hephaestus started to turn all the rivers into liquid silver.

For the rivers to turn completely into silver it took three of the four seasons, the rivers kept rising and rising gradually again.

Then suddenly the banks of the river burst open, everyone saw and screamed but Helen, she was still asleep in her palace because no one had come to wake her. when she woke she ran out side, she couldn’t find anyone she then saw this  mysterious figure out of the blue, she ran to the middle of the city. She didn’t have time to act. Then the worst thing happened, the liquid silver came rushing over her first it covered her feet then her legs, and slowly it started to cover her worrying body. When it reached her  head all was lost she was slowly and painfully suffocated to death. With the last  bit of her breath she yelled for help, but no one could hear her shout.

When the flooding had stopped and Helen had died the citizens came back in, they mourned for a very long time.

Over time they chipped away at the silver and Helen’s now solid silver feet had come free from the ground.

For a while she had been put outside her golden palace but now she was going to be admired in the silver stained centre of her beautiful city for all time. The good thing about that is that everyone is reminded of all her hubristic behaviour and now they all care about each other and don’t boss each other around.

The end

The tale of Arian

Many moons ago, in a village that was so beautiful, until it was invaded by the Trojans. The houses and land were burnt down and left nothing. It destroyed everything and a poor man and woman’s boat. His name was Arian and hers was Arriadnie and they had fished together every day. They were the fisher man and woman for the village.

Three years of hard work soon led Arriadnie to become ill and sick. Arian helped her as much as he could but they both did not work, which meant the village was getting no food this led to a starvation. Arriadnie last said

“just remember are gold in are boat”

After a year later Arriadnie died, Arian could not bear not seeing her every day. He soon stopped the starvation but he did not feel good.

“You are our life saver” a girl exclaimed,

“You are a savvier we always needed “a boy shouted,

“You are like a god” the meaning of those words struck him he was a god .They crowned him king.

Many seasons past and   King Arian had built a palace next to a city the palace was made of gold and marble. It glittered in the sun light and shone in the moon light.

“This is a fine, palace but it is not perfect, I will make a boat, and it will be beautiful and people will admire it, I will fish for food that will taste like the finest foo from all the land.”

Years passed and the magnificent ship was built

“Now I need a trident” He thought to himself. On that night he prayed to Hephaestus for a trident as fine Poseidon’s. When he woke up from his sleep, the trident was there next to him. It was gold and bronze and shiny as Athena golden shield.

“This is a trident fit for a king” he boldly said “I will build gold walls but i must find my old fishing boat to find my gold”

As the moon slowly rose on that day King Arian fell asleep into a deep, deep dream

“Why do you do this you foolish man give your people food don’t let then starve” A deep voice murmured Arian woke up suddenly

“What was that?”He questioned himself

The next day King Arian was looking through his boat when he saw the gold he seized it and the boat started to be dragged out to sea until he was in front of his expensive ship he thought he did not know why he was there but it was a great view of his palace. A clap of thunder shocks his boat. Then a strike of lightning struck his ship, a strike of lightning came again it caught on fire

“No my ship why would this happen to me”

The old boat started to sink and then Arian was no way to be found. He was dead.

Disaster!

Many moons ago, in a place that is now half buried, lived a humble man named Dolan. Dolan had a wife called Ariadne and a son called Axanax. Dolan had been attacked by the Greeks once but this was different, they had burned his ships and his house so they all had to escape quickly.

Dolan had been searching in the forest for wood and strangely found a spear in the bushes and took it. Dolan had only one choice, he sold the spear! Athena was furious that Dolan had stolen her spear.

Dolan was the happiest man on earth, he sold the spear to and old man called Taj, from that spear he took the money and built a glamorous city, it was made from the finest white and black marble, the floors were plated gold. He had pride in himself and Athena could tell.

Three years past and Dolans city was complete. then all of a sudden Athena came down from mount Olympus to say to not have pride in yourself and also to give back her spear “ you will regret this” she whispered , but Dolan did not listen to what she had said.

One summers glistening day Dolan was admiring his city when a couple of warn out soldiers from the Trojan army came to his town, Dolan just looked at them in disgust “you are a mess get out of here I have just got these streets done go away!” he shouted loudly, the scuttled away like a rat being seen, tut tut tut should of known stupid soldiers. Athena was furious!

Athena came down to talk to Dolan “how dare you chuck a poor couple out of your streets you are despicable” he had not been scared about what she had said because he had been in the Trojan war and he was not hurt or injured. Suddenly a storm hit the city, everyone ran out the city “come back”! He said. Suddenly he got smashed against the city wall as hard as Athena’s strength could do, Dolans last sight was his luxurious city crumbling to pieces. Ariadne and Axanax wailed for their lovely father.

Icarus and Daedalus

Many moons ago, there was a father and a son called Icarus and Daedalus they were very brave and courageous. They lived in a miserable prison and they wanted to travel because they did not want to stay in prison because if they stay in prison then they will be shot in the eye, on the leg and on their face.

Daedalus and Icarus were on the enormous tower . Daedalus bought huge wings for them and they went off flying but Daedalus told Icarus to not go near the sun.

Daedalus told Icarus not to travel near the sun but Icarus did not listen to his wise father.

The powerful and kind Zeus was also trying to save Icarus but he couldn’t save Icarus because Apollo was the sun but Icarus was Apollo’s friend that’s why Icarus didn’t listen to Zeus.

Zeus’s warning was “don’t travel near the sun. The foolish Icarus did not take any notice of Zeus’s kind warning, and flew closer to the scorching sun.

Finally, Icarus was burnt by the sun and he fell in the sea. Daedalus felt very angry because Icarus did not listen to his wise father.
