No one understands me.
A dagger thrust through my heart ; pain spreading like a wild forest fire.
No body to talk to. No one I can trust.
I’m used to being alone it’s all I’ve ever known, but I wish it could all change.
For the better.
The Shadow, which weighs down on my shoulders, is making my life miserable.
A single tear rolls down my pale face and drips into a puddle.
I remember.
Alone; empty
Nothing but me and the rubble on the broken floor.
Destruction,
Tears trickling down my lonely face and falling onto my grazed knees. I lie down on a destroyed building, but not just any building, my house, my home, my memories, lost forever.
The ground shakes again. As I look around it all comes flooding back to me, where’s my family, my mum, my dad, my sister. I scramble to my feet and career down the street screeching for my parents. I trip and cut my knee. I think to myself: could it be real, am I dreaming.

As I glared up from my glass of wine I spotted from the corner of my eye a dark shadow circling the room. Suddenly the midnight black door creaked open all was black apart from a pale scull-like face that split into an evil grin. His icy blue eyes narrowed to slits. His dark heavy boots dragged across the carpet. Then he spoke his voice was like ice cold venom fresh from a blood thirsty python. “It is time Demeter” “c…c…can w…we…just wait for summer”

As they plummeted down from the side of the tower, the silk wings unfolded in the summer breeze. They began to glide up in the azure sky. Soon after they had master flying, and were gracefully souring through the clouds. Daedalus started to become worried and warned Icarus not to go to high but Icarus ignored Daedalus and darted higher and higher. Until the scorching wax burned his blistering back in the sunlight. He suddenly found himself plummeting down in to the monstrous pounding sea below him that swallowed him whole.
