Cat walk woman

I glanced up from my canvas, only to see a woman striding towards me proudly, as if she were walking along a cat walk. In my mind I was wondering what a woman like her would want anything to do with me? My tapestrys! She probably wanted me to weave a picture of her! I grasped my needle and started to pretend I was weaveing something. I peered up to see if she was still approaching me, but she was towering over me like a temple, fixing her hair in a mirror covered in precious gems.

“ You better stop what you’re doing…” there was a deafening silence while she fiddled with a loose gem on the back of the mirror. “NOW!” she shouted. Her angelic voice echoed throughout the market. Everybody stopped what they were doing and stared.

“We shall have a Weave off!” She declared. When she said that I knew what I had to do. This lady was acting like a Goddess, and I’m sure she’s not, so I’ll make a fool of her and every one of the gods.

She turned her back to the crowed. “I’ll see you tomorrow at sunrise.”
