Vast men walk the war

As the battle raged along the beach, I glared up and spotted a mysterious figure raging ferociously through my titanic army, he was coming straight to me.
A vast man he was, with a proud posture as well. He strolled past people like one of us but his roar was like no ones. He bellowed out to anyone who dared to come near. He was powerful, something else.
He thundered pass my warriors. I could now see his deathly scarred face.

Which God has entered the battlefield?

Arachne you shall be punished

Dear Arachne.

I am the mighty Zeus, lord of the skies; god of gods. I am writing this to advise you to stop your inordinately hubristic behaviour. I know it sounds thrilling to possible be more pre eminent at weaving than one of us gods but carry on in this puerile manner and the punishment will be severe.

Athena is an exquisite weaver so to even become close to her ability and skill is a tremendous achievement; in doing this you have far transcended what any mortal has done before. However, you should not announce it with trumpets. This will cause other people to disfavour you and you will no longer draw others attention towards your tapestry. No matter how divine your work is.

Various other mortals have suffered plenty from their hubris. Carry on in this way and you will find that you are to be the next victim of excessive pride. You have been afflicted with vanity and way to if you do not steer yourself away from this wretched path then you will be the following person to suffer this harrowing fate.

You are a superior weaver and you future could and should be bright. However, we gods are in charge of your fate and we abhor it deeply when others believe they are to a greater degree than us. You should admire us and thank us for what we do.

I am warning you, you must stop this furore or your days will be numbered. This is your last chance before we act.

Yours sincerely,

Zeus

towards the stormy raging sea there mighty feathered

wings sprung  open. They shot manifestly across  the sea.

As they rose higher and higher Icarus forgot about the warning that Daedalus had given him. He rose higher and higher.

Next he felt the wax dripping off his colourful wings.

With a stab of horror Icarus realised he was no longer able to fly.

He stared to plumit down towards the dark raging sea.

With an enourmous splash Icarus fell into the sea and moved no more.

The Terrible Ending of Icarus

Lo: Can I retell the ending of a story using noun phrases and accurate verb choices?

As the burning wax began to melt, the purl white feathered wings began unfurled. Suddenly wings began to shake with fear. Then they darted across the sapphire sky in a rush! Icarus was petrified at first but then he got the hang of it, in fact he mastered it but started to have excessive pride. Icarus was warned by his father not to fly to high, but he ignored his father and flew higher and higher. The calm breeze started to carrying him up and he was drifting in the azure sky. Icarus was not thinking and then said that he could go higher then the god of the sun Apollo. Apollo over heard what Icarus said so Apollo got furious and then he told the gold glittering sun to shin it sun rays upon the land. So the sun shone its flaming hot sun rays and then the wax began to drip down his back and the plummeted into the deep, rapid sea. The hard navy blue sea started crushing his bone and was never to be seen again by his father ever again. His father wept in sadness.

Icarus sad death

They leapt like new born birds from the tower ledge and there Perl Wight wings opened as fast as a lightning bolt from Zeus and shot up like a catapult. The wings glided gracefully above the neon blue sea. Icrus became over confident and flew as high as an eagle above the clouds and the sun pealed of the wax like a scab. The wings fell apart faster than a shooting star and icrus fell like a rock down the side of a cliff. He froze like an ice scolpcher in fear and wonder if this was his last breath and it was and he slept with the fishes.

Icarus’ Death!

L.O: Can I Retell the story of Icarus?

Daedalus and Icarus were trapped in the maze.

Icarus and Daedalus were feeding the birds seeds and picked their feathers .

Icarus flew off and said he can fly higher than the sun.

Daedalus told him not to fly too close to the sun because the wax will melt and he will fall into the sea.

Icarus didn’t listen and he fell into the sea and drowned.

Icarus’ Flight

As they nervously leapt from the tower ledge, they plummeted down towards the glistening beige sand. Then suddenly, the feathered wings unfurled. They shot up! Soon enough Icarus and Daedalus were drifting in the afternoon breeze. At first Icarus was petrified, but in a few minutes, he was gliding through the air like a graceful, swift dove. But then, Icarus started to get over confident. Daedalus had warned Icarus not to fly too close to the sun, but Icarus was very big headed. So he flew as high as he could, and said to himself; “I can fly higher than Apollo.” Apollo had heard this, and was very angry. So he told the blazing sun to shoot its blinding sun rays at Icarus.

Icarus had begun to feel drips of hot liquid onto his leg. It was wax. The bright sun rays had made the flaky wax melt and let loose of the feathered wings. He was frozen with horror. Icarus was plunging down towards the deep churning sea, when he crashed into the azure, navy water.
