Dead.

Juliet was bouncing on the balls

Of her feet positively quivering with excitement.

“Oh Romeo, where art thou Romeo?”

Juliet was muttering under her breath .

“ Where is my love?” Juliet said.

Juliet rushed over to the balcony  and

Peered over the edge.  There was no Romeo.

The door opened behind her, Juliet spun around so fast that she nearly toppled over.

“Romeo, you came at last.”  But it was not Romeo that entered, it was the nurse.

“where is Romeo?” Juliet exclaimed.  The nurse did not answer, her face was as white as a sheet.

“What’s happened to Romeo?”  Juliet said urgently.

“ Tybalt’s  dead “ the nurse said soberly .

None of this had the slightest effect on Juliet .

“What has happened to Romeo?” Juliet said even more urgently.

“Romeo’s banished”, the nurse said.

“No,no,no!” Juliet collapsed, burying her face in her hands.  The nurse burst into tears.

“Poor Tybalt”, the nurse sobbed.

“But why has Romeo been banished?” cried Juliet.  “Our love is strong.”  Juliet wailed.

“Romeo killed Tybalt”, the nurse sobbed.
