In year 5 we are currently looking at suffixes. Our spelling rule of the week is adding the suffix ‘ious.’
Tip- in words with the suffix ‘ious’ sometimes the ‘i’ is silent and can sound like ‘us.’

- Memory game with a friend – Create a double set of word cards and spread out the cards face down and then take turns flipping two cards at a time to find a pair.
