The last flight of Icarus

Icarus steped up to the grimy ledge. This was it. Just as he was about to jump he triped and his sandel flew of into the sea and was skuered by a rock “Is this a sine from the gods am I fated to die

such a horrific death?” wailed Icarus. But then he realized that his father was depending on so he gathered his curige and jumped. he plumited like a bullet towardes the dark churning sea. He tryed to scream but he had no voice. then his wings unferled and he sored flying through the bright azure sky laugfing with joy.

He diped and then glided upwardes twisting and turnig smiling as he climbed higher and higer. But his father Dadeles warned him to be carful “Icarus do not go to close to the sun for it will melt the wax on your back.” So Icarus reluctantly swooped lower.

Icarus glided along for a while with his farther then eventualy grue boad of Daedeles’s slow pace and flew up again. He fliped and swirled going higer bit by bit. The sun shone down on the shining wax. Icarus began to sweat as the wax streamed of his back’ his feathers herteled away and the wings desintergrated into nothing but a fue burnt scraps traling smoke. He let out a scream of fear.

Icarus fell plumiting towards his wartery grave.The sea crashed back to reaveel Gagid rocs. There was a splash. It was all over so quicly. A life had been taken in a fwe seconds by the melevelonce of pride.
