Our Tragedies

Many moons ago in the land of Greece, you might find an undersized village nestled between to towering mountains. If you stopped your journey in the age of the heroes (Belleraphon and Theseus), you may also find a mossy forest with a scenic stream trickling through the calm meanders that led it.

The village was an impoverished place with few hard – working citizens. Belonging to the town was a large group of hunters that would search the budding terrain for the resource that kept them town alive: rodents and small wild animals. One of these men was a particularly skilled hunter called Orpheus.

The last flight of Icarus

Icarus' last flight

His hands were trembling with fear, the evening air surrounded Icarus’ body. His nerves shivered up his spine. He summoned up all his courage. This was it. With a pleading prayer on his lips, he leapt. Down, Down, Down he fell untill he was suddenly saved by a huge gust of wind, that swept him from his death. It guided him from the heavens as if he were an angel.  As Hades reached up to claim is next soul, the hot thermals of Crete caught Icarus’ wings and lifted him from the underworlds’ clench. His delicate wings unfurled and he was once again reunited with his beloved father.

The Landscape of Greece

Greece is located in Eastern Europe, surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea. Its coastlines are separated by many islands which lie in the Aegean Sea. With such a variety of islands and inlets running from Turkey to Albania. Including numerous seas perfect to go swimming in. Greece is an amazing family holiday, child friendly and a great place to explore. Low long coastlines and a scorching temperature, means you have beautiful beaches for miles. Shallow waters mean swimming for the whole family. Tuck in to fresh fish and cocktails at one of the many restaurants covering the inland of the country. Rent a boat and sail away to over 1400 outstanding islands. Climbing mountains is a good way to get a full view of the island. One very famous mountain mount Olympus is over 2000m high and would be a very exiting trip. So step inside to a world of wonder.
