Broken and eerie

The snow like clouds glide across the endless sky,

trees dance, as if no rules apply.

Birds chime in perfect harmony,

and hobble leaves and dandelions,

are swaying to a tune.

Animals prance around,

all full of life,

the forest makes too much sound.

But at last,

silence strikes it’s revenge.

Yet,

hobble leaves and dandelions,

keep swaying to a tune.

Dark clouds and thunder dominates,

and illuminates

the azure sky.

The blue forked lightning’s gleam

lashes the on-going stream.

Animals huddle away,

with not a lot of room to stay

there is need to hide

from the torrential down pour.

And life,

awaits the warmth of the sun.

Will it ever come?

Trees smash into the ground,

their roots loosened.

Finally,

shards of light pierce the forest floor.

The last few shrieks

and then applause.

But shredded leaves and dandelions

are all broken and eerie.
