The Rainforest

Tranquil water gleaming,

Golden hazed bushes crowded the fungi

Crack!

A whip of lightning struck a tree causing it to plummete

The storm had, begun!

Inky black clouds infected the clean white clouds,

Ivy choked the trees

like a tsunami taking down everything in its path.

Jagged plants waving in the gale winds,

The thunder growls a warning,

The blue forked lightning

lashes a wave of spears at the treetops,

making them tumble and cracking their roots.

Rain dripping like shards of glass shattering on the floor

Azure blue clouds enveloped the dark contagious ones

causing them to vanish.

Silence
