This week’s blog is written by Harry and Edward.
This week we went to the Royal Festival Hall to sing carols with an organ. It had 7866 pipes! My favourite carol was ‘Ding Dong Merrily On High’ (Harry). My favourite carol was ‘Winter Fantasy’ (Edward). It was lots of fun.

This week we have been learning how to write a diary entry. We know that a diary needs to be written in the first person, past tense and must include interesting details.
In our diary entry we wrote as Major Glad or Major Dizzy., describing the day the fire broke out under the floorboards. We hope you enjoy reading them.
In maths we have been learning about our 3,4 and 8 times tables. We have been learning how to multiply and divide. We are moving on to adding and subtracting numbers.
In science we have been learning about magnets. We have learnt how magnets attract and repel different objects.
In art we have been learning how to weave different materials.
Next week we are performing our carols by candlelight. Don’t forget that Christmas is nearly here!
