Dear Parents and Carers,

Once again, it’s been a busy week in Phase One.

Years one and two, have started preparing for their Christmas Show ‘Jesus’ Christmas Party’.

All of the children have taken home a letter describing what clothing is required for their costume, along with a copy of their line(s) to practise at home. If you have any questions  please come and speak to me and I will be happy to help.

Mr Peck has kick started singing assemblies, for years 3,4,5 and 6, in preparation for the ‘Carols by Candlelight’ concert which takes place on Tuesday 17th December at 18.00 at St Matthew’s Church. This is the first time the year three children will have taken part in the concert and I can’t wait to hear them singing to get us all in the festive spirit.

This week Mrs Bibby organised an art project for Remembrance Sunday. All of the children in the school learnt about this important day and why we wear poppies at this time of year. Each class made a poppy wreath that will be laid in our own remembrance assembly on Monday.

I hope you have a lovely weekend,

Miss Luetchford 🙂
